Glyde Street Precinct Parking Review
Glyde Street Precinct Parking Review
The Town of Mosman Park is inviting residents to provide feedback on proposed parking changes in the Glyde Street precinct.
As the precinct continues to evolve, including the delivery of the Mos Lane development, the Town is reviewing whether existing parking arrangements continue to support the needs of the community and local businesses.
Several major projects are set to commence in the Glyde Street precinct, including developments at 8–10 Glyde Street, 48 Glyde Street and Stage 1 of the Glyde Street Streetscape Masterplan. As construction gets underway, parking demand in the area is expected to increase.
To help manage these impacts, the Town is reviewing parking arrangements and inviting your feedback.
Proposed parking changes
The proposed changes aim to improve parking turnover and availability within the precinct during this period.
The Town is considering introducing three-hour timed parking in:
- Ecclesborne Street (between Glyde Street and St Leonard's Street)
- St Leonard's Street (between Monument Street and Stirling Highway)
A No Parking restriction is also proposed on part of St Leonard's Street where the road is too narrow to safely accommodate parking on both sides. The Town is unable to provide parking permits for nearby residents.
To view a map of the plan please refer to the Documents tab.
These proposals are a starting point for discussion and may change based on community feedback.
Parking will continue to be monitored and reviewed as the projects progress and following completion of the developments to ensure arrangements continue to meet the community's needs.
Your feedback will help inform any future parking changes in the Glyde Street precinct.
Consultation closes at 11.59pm on Wednesday 30 September 2026.
