Update 7/11/2022 – New nominations sought for the new Local Heritage Survey

The Town made a call for nominations of property or places that they consider to be worthy of heritage protection from the community and new information for existing place records. 23 nominations were received which were assessed by the Town’s heritage consultants. It is noted that a number of nominations were for the extension of The Chine and the Coombe place listing.

The Town sought comments from the community from 7 November 2022 – 4 December 2022. An Information session was also held on Wednesday 16 November 2022 for the public to attend to get an overview of the project from the Town’s consultants.

The outcome of the heritage consultant’s assessments of new nominations and existing places on the Town’s existing Municipal Inventory, has been outlined in the report scribed for the Ordinary Council report held on 28 November 2024 OCM report 28 Nov 2024
