Update November 2025 – Department of Planning Lands and Heritage to Create a Station Improvement scheme for Mosman Park Station
On the 16th of November 2025, the WA State Government announced that it would be cutting red tape and fast-tracking housing around train station precincts.
It was announced that improvement plans and schemes will be established in up to an 800-metre radius around the 10 train stations to facilitate housing development and enhance consistency in planning and decision-making.
The improvement schemes will establish the State as the body that sets the height and zoning density settings within the precincts, and as the responsible decision-maker.
