Update June 2025

The Town secured approval from Council at the 25 February Ordinary Council Meeting 2025 to publicly advertise the Draft Mosman Park Village Precinct Structure Plan (MPV PSP) and associated Scheme Amendment No. 11. The Environmental Protection Authority also undertook a preliminary assessment of the draft documents and did not require further assessment or comment.

The Town is completing minor updates to the draft documents for final sign off by the Town’s CEO, which was required as part of the 25 February 2025 council resolution. Upon completion, approval from the Western Australia Planning Commission (WAPC) and Minister for Planning will be sought by the Town for permission to publicly advertise the MPV PSP and Scheme Amendment No. 11 concurrently.

It is to be noted that the WAPC is not bound by statutory timeframe limitations to make such decisions, therefore we have no complete certainty as to when the Town will engage with the community.

Once approval to publicly consult is attained, you will be provided an opportunity to view the Draft MPV PSP and the Scheme Amendment No. 11 and see how your feedback has contributed to its development. There will be a minimum of 42 days to view these documents and provide comment.

The Town will be publicly advertising these documents via social media, the Town’s website and Your Say page, The Post newspaper, and the Town’s noticeboards. You can also come and view the documents at the Town’s administration office if viewing online is not your preference. Submitters and owner/occupiers that live within the precinct area will receive notification of public advertising via a letter.
