Proposed Complex Scheme Amendment No. 9 to Local Planning Scheme No. 3 - Lot 600 (60) McCabe Street, Mosman Park
The Town has received endorsement from the Minister for Planning to undertake consultation on the applicant-led amendment to Local Planning Scheme No. 3 for Lot 600 (60) McCabe Street, colloquially known as 'Rocky Bay'.
The amendment proposes to update the Scheme by making the following modifications:
a. Change the zoning of the land from 'Parks and Reserves - Social Care Facility' to 'Residential';
b. Applying residential density codes of R40, R60, and R160 in specific locations across the site;
c. Including specified additional uses of Restaurant/Cafe and Community Purpose to the site; and,
d. Creating a new Schedule 3 of the Scheme that includes specific design objectives that apply to the site, including the requirement for the provision of Public Open Space.

The Town has received endorsement from the Minister for Planning to undertake consultation on the applicant-led amendment to Local Planning Scheme No. 3 for Lot 600 (60) McCabe Street, colloquially known as 'Rocky Bay'.

The Town of Mosman Park is pleased to announce that Scheme Amendment No. 9 to Local Planning Scheme No. 3 has now been officially gazetted.
This marks the final step in the amendment process, following endorsement from the Minister for Planning and Lands and the completion of required modifications by the applicant.
The gazetted amendment documentation is now available under the 'Documents' tab on this page.
Those who made a submission during the consultation period will be notified directly.

Following certification, the Town will request publication of the amendment in the Government Gazette, which will formally finalise the process.
Once gazetted, all relevant documents will be made available on the Town’s website, and notification will be provided to those who made a submission during the consultation period. Until that time, the content of the documents remains confidential.
