UPDATE 7 JUNE 2023 -

The West Australian Planning Commission has considered the Scheme Amendment and it's submitted recommendation to the Minister in accordance with section 87(1) of the Planning & Development Act 2005 (the Act).

The Minister has approved the Scheme Amendment in accordance with section 87(3) of the Act.



LOCAL PLANNING SCHEME NO. 3 – SCHEME AMENDMENT NO. 4 – 30 GLYDE STREET, MOSMAN PARK

The Town of Mosman Park has received the above Scheme Amendment (Amendment) to the Local Planning Scheme No. 3 (Scheme).


The proposed Amendment seeks to allow an additional use of ‘Recreation – Private’ as a P (Permitted) use on Lot 9 (No. 30) Glyde Street, Mosman Park (the Subject Site). Currently a ‘Recreation – Private’ use is an X (Not Permitted) use in a Commercial Zone under the Zoning Table of the Scheme.


The Scheme defines ‘Recreation – Private’ as follows:

“means premises that are – (a) used for indoor or outdoor leisure, recreation or sport; and (b) not usually open to the public without charge.”
