Workshop Feedback Project

Thank you for participating in the recent community workshop.

We would like to keep an ongoing relationship with you directly as a working group, keeping you informed of the draft Strategic Community Plan as we progress. We would love to have your feedback regarding a draft vision, mission statement and values that have been crafted from your feedback and the broader community results.

The current vision is: ‘In 2030, we will be a gold-star local government’

Community were asked to image the best future for Mosman Park in 2030, from 472 responses the below words were identified as common themes along with the number of unique times they appeared in surveys. These results have been used with the feedback from the community workshop to propose three options for further community engagement.

In addition to the broader community theme results, workshop participants identified advocacy, character, active citizenship and transparency as priorities for a vision.

Vision

Three options have been suggested based on the workshop and broader community feedback.

The Town of Mosman Park:

1. ‘A connected flourishing neighbourhood for all’
2. ‘An active, friendly neighbourhood between river and sea’
3. ‘To be a progressive leader that nurtures our unique neighbourhood’
4. 'An inclusive and truly engaged community, who are proud to be, together, the Town of Mosman Park'

Mission

We will foster active citizenship and communicate with our community to ensure the Town is a safe and friendly neighbourhood, balancing our heritage with future growth.
