How often will the advisory group meet?
The group will meet on an as-required basis. It is anticipated that the panel will meet at least three times over the two-year term.
Who facilitates and chairs the meetings?
Meetings are facilitated by Town of Mosman Park staff and will be chaired by either a nominated Elected Member or Town representative.
How are conflicts of interest managed?
Members are required to declare any actual or perceived conflicts of interest at the start of a meeting. For example, a member must abstain from participation if a discussed policy or development directly affects their own property, or that of a friend or family member.
What is expected of members during meetings?
Members are expected to review background materials provided prior to meetings, represent the broader interests of the local community, actively participate in discussions, and maintain the confidentiality of the information shared.
