At the 28 November 2023 Ordinary Council Meeting, Council resolved to approve LPP32. The approved LPP32 will shortly be available on the Town's website, within the 'Local Planning Policies' section. This will be accompanied by an online calculation tool for determining the value of the community benefit applicable to the respective development.

Brief Background
The Community Benefits Contribution Policy (LPP32) was initially advertised for community consultation in December 2022. 104 responses were provided, many of them outlining some great ideas and feedback.
The revised draft LPP32 sought approval to re-advertise at the Ordinary Council Meeting on 27 June 2023, and incorporated community feedback from the initial phase of consultation. The revised draft LPP32 was subsequently advertised for a period of 42 days, with 11 responses received.
The Policy will allow community benefit to be factored into the State Government review/approval of development applications relating to high density and apartment applications.

At the Mosman Park Ordinary (OCM) 27 June, Council approved for the revised draft Local Planning Policy no.32 to be re-advertised for a period of community consultation and engagement. Please submit your feedback before COB 24 August 2023.
