Residential Design Codes Review

Have your say on proposed changes to WA's residential planning rules

The State Government is proposing changes to the Residential Design Codes (R-Codes), which guide how residential homes, apartments are designed and assessed across WA. It also impacts on what land you need to subdivide or develop on your property.

The changes could affect what can be built on residential properties, including building heights, setbacks, density, landscaping and how development applications are assessed.

For Mosman Park, these proposals raise important questions about future development, neighbourhood character and the things residents value about their local area.

The Town is reviewing the proposed changes and wants to hear from residents about what matters most to them. Your feedback will help us understand the potential local impacts and inform a report and briefing for Council.
