Proposed Road Closure of a Portion of Solomon Street

UPDATE OF 14 MAY 2024:

Council, at their Ordinary Council Meeting of April 2024 resolved to endorse the proposed closure of the applicable areas of Solomon Street. The minutes of the Council meeting can be found at the following link:

At the Ordinary Council Meeting of 28 November 2023, Council resolved to approve advertising it's notice of intent to permanently close a portion of Solomon Street, between Lochee Street and Victoria Street. (*see map in documents section)

If closed, the northern section of Solomon street could still be used for parking and would be better fit for community events. The southern section of the road, if closed, would also still be utilised for parking and has been earmarked for future, improved parking at Mosman Park Primary School and School for Deaf Children.

The Town is now seeking your comment (In accordance with section 58 of the Land Administration Act 1997), on the proposal to permanently close the road. You can have your say by clicking the 'Provide Feedback' link below.
