As part of our commitment to delivering a thorough and community-focused plan, the Town has incorporated additional processes to ensure we captured the best outcomes for the area.
The additional processes included:
- Targeted consultation with business owners from 31 March to 9 April 2025; and
- Design Review Panel on 14 April 2025 to review and provide recommendations of the proposal.
The new steps have extended our original timeline; however they are considered essential to ensuring that the final streetscape masterplan for Glyde Street reflects the needs and aspirations of all stakeholders.
The Town is currently working with our consultants to respond to Aboriginal engagement outcomes, recommendations of the Design Review Panel and public submissions. There will be some changes to the plan as a result, however, a major re-design is not expected.
An update will be provided when the modified plans are finalised and due to be sent to council for final adoption. The Town anticipates a final decision for the July 2025 Ordinary Council Meeting (OCM).

The Town of Mosman Park is developing a Streetscape Masterplan for Glyde Street to enhance its functionality, aesthetics, and community appeal as the Town's main street and gateway into our local area.
This initiative was identified through various consultation exercises with the community in 2017, 2019 and 2023. The community feedback during the development of the draft Mosman Park Village Precinct Structure Plan and previous Town Centre plan highlighting the importance of improving Glyde Street as a key local destination.
Your feedback is essential to ensure the masterplan reflects the needs and aspirations of the community. Please take a few minutes to complete this survey and help shape the future of Glyde Street.
