What happens next?
The second phase of the Urban Road Safety consultation has now closed.
The Town and traffic and transport specialists PJA will review all feedback received during this phase alongside the technical analysis and proposed treatments.
Where appropriate, the draft recommendations will be refined to ensure they reflect community input and the available evidence.
The final recommendations will then be considered by Council, with the highest priority improvements proposed for implementation in 2027, subject to funding and approvals.

We strongly encourage you to read the Consultant's Report and Proposed Interventions Planfound in the Documents tab to get a better understanding o the project. The report explains how locations were prioritised and why specific treatments have been recommended.
