Call for Expression of Interest - Community Working Group

Council, at their Ordinary Council Meeting of 22 February 2022 approved the 12 month establishment of a Community Working Group (CWG) in accordance with the provisions of the revised Local Planning Policy 01 - Community Engagement for Planning Proposals. The purpose of the CWG is to provide the Town an opportunity to engage directly with community representatives on key planning proposals that may affect the Town as a whole.

The CWG will assist in ensuring that strategic planning proposals consider and respond to key matters of importance to the local community. The advice of the CWG will be vital in preparing and developing a range of strategic documents. It is intended that the members of the CWG reflect a diverse range of local residents or facility users.

Call for Expression of Interest

If you have an interest in representing your community as part of an advisory group and are a stakeholder who lives, works, or has an interest in planning matters within the Town then a position on the CWG could be perfect for you.

To be eligible for a position on the CWG you must:

• Be of at least 17 years of age;
• Be willing to abide by the CWG Terms of Reference Document; and,
• Be willing to dedicate your time as required to attend meetings and provide your feedback.

Please note that the intent of the CWG is to reflect the demographic range of the Town of Mosman Park. Accordingly, some individuals may be selected ahead of others to ensure that this range is met.
